The first musical I ever did was Fiddler on the Roof during my junior year at Decorah High School. I played the role of the tailor, Motel Kamzoil, who marries Tevye's oldest daughter, Tzeitel. Somewhere they may be a photo from that, but I haven't come across it yet. I remember having to wear a scraggly fake beard along with dyeing my hair dark. I did come across some pages from the DHS 1975 Yearbook that had some pictures.

Mark Silhouette 1967
Somewhere around third grade (cursive handwriting?) I did this silhouette as an art project. Mom hung onto it and eventually it was found in a pile of old papers and pictures.

Christmas 1965
In the fall of 1965 I was in second grade. We wrote stories and put them in a booklet to give our parents for Christmas that year. The stuff that a mother saves.

Kindergarten Picture 1964
I turned five in March of 1964 and started kindergarten that fall. My older sister, Dawn, had taught me to read when I was four, so I ended up being moved into first grade after about a month of kindergarten. Since they had already taken pictures I never got a first grade picture.

Baby's Story 1959
Recently I discovered this baby book. Inside was this birth card.
Also tucked inside was the wristband from the Air Force Base Hospital.

Baby Book 1959
Another item I inherited back when Mom and Dad were cleaning out the house. The note with the poem was folded up inside the booklet.
