I did several solo recitals with LTCC's Music Department piano instructor, Salli Parker, as part of my tenure evaluation process. This one in January of 2001 was part of John Perry's Classical Concert Series.
We got a little blurb in the Action and the Tahoe Daily Tribune.
Below are copies of the original songs I wrote to poems by Walt Whitman. "To You" and "Thought" were written for a good friend, Randy Schilling, to sing on his Master's Recital at the U of IA back in the early 80s. Sadly he died of AIDS a few years before this recital. "Beautiful Women" was written for a faculty recital I did at Millikin in 1989.
