Dave Hamilton thought it would be really funny (or interesting?) to do a gender reversal of How to Succeed. I just remember that it was challenging for the singers to have to do the songs in the original keys. We put the band up above the light booth which was different, they could barely see me from the stage. Members of the audience said that it felt like the music was coming out of nowhere. I had forgotten that I also played trombone when I wasn't conducting.
