I had met Lev and Suzie Tagayev in 1994 when they had come down from Tahoe City to audition for Western Nevada's Camelot. I think Suzie may have suggested that I audition for Tahoe Players' production of The Music Man. I did and got the part of Harold Hill and played opposite of Suzie's Marian Paroo. We performed a weekend at Granlibakken Resort outside of Tahoe City, and then later a weekend at the Tahoe Regional Park in Tahoe Vista where I had done Pirates in 1993.

Below is a photo of Suzie, Dick Stoll (Mayor Shinn) and me. I also got some very nice compliments from the producers in a letter to the editor.
